Congrats to Kiefer Sutherland who was honored with the 2,337th Star to appear on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last month.
We’re just wondering what took so long.
Kiefer has been in films since 1983. Well, sure, you’ve probably seen him in lots of 90s films, but If you’ve never seen The Bay Boy, one of his first films, you should.
Of course, being Jack Bauer in “24″ has cemented Kiefer’s reputation as a fine actor.
Kiefer Sutherland told the Hollywood Reporter that the toughest part about “24″ is having actor friends come and go.
“You get used to working with people you develop an unbelievable relationship with — not only professionally but personally as well — and then their characters die,” he said.
“The first hard loss was Leslie Hope. She’s a phenomenal actor, someone of whom I’m really fond. When they told me after the first season that she was going to die, I was heartbroken. That was when I started to get used to the fact that a lot of actors on our show weren’t going to be there for as long as I would’ve liked.”
We’ve always wondered if actors get mixed up sometimes and call their fellow actors by their characters’ names when they’re on a series together a long time.
