Jeff Gordon wins Wins Brickyard 400 for the Fifth Time

In 1994, 23 year old Jeff Gordon won the first ever Brickyard 400 NASCAR race at the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.  Now, 20 years later, he won the Brickyard 400 for a record fifth time (the others were in 1998, 2001, and 2004) on July 27th.  Gordon is having a great Sprint Cup season, and is in first place in the point standings. No Indy Car driver has won four times on the Indianapolis track.  The only other five time winner is Michael Schumacher, who has five Formula One victories.
