James and Heidi Tie the Knot

James Durbin, American Idol’s 4th place winner in Season 10, married his long-time sweetheart, Heidi Lowe, on New Year’s Eve in a chapel in the Santa Cruz Mountains right in his hometown. The couple’s adorable two year old son, Hunter, was the ring-bearer.

Three of his fellow American Idol alumni were among the 85-person guest list, according to People. Haley Reinhart (3rd runner up), Stefano Langone (7th place) and Casey Abrams (6th place).

James talked about his wedding plans right after he was eliminated in May of 2011, and said at the time that he wanted Stefano Langone to be his best man. There must have been a lot of singing going on!

So it’s official now, but as this youtube shows, James has been a bona fide family man for some time.
