Ask not whether Roman Polanski should be given a pass for his old crime of drugging and raping a 13 year old girl. The real question is why, after all this time, are his attorneys clogging up our court system with motions to get him off the hook.

Roman was 43 years old when he was about to sentenced after he was allowed to plead guilty to a single charge of sexual intercourse with a minor. He took off, never again to step foot in the USA or any country the USA had an extradition treaty with.
He is now 75 years old. We’re not going to go into all the pro-Roman palaver that is making the rounds. Some years ago, we saw Mia Farrow, of all people, on TV saying something to the effect of “Poor Roman,” which was unbelievable enough for us.
His lawyers can bring up all these alleged improprieties and whatever else they want to pull out their legal hats, but that doesn’t change the fact that he not only committed the crime, but fled the jurisdiction.
So c’mon back and pay the piper, or just stay wherever the hell you’ve been for the last 30 years.
