Hilary Duff Marries Mike Comrie

Singer- actress Hilary Duff and former Edmonton Oilers (and current free agent) hockey player Mike Comrie were married in a sunset ceremony August 14th in Santa Barbara, California.  This follows right on the heels of the Carrie Underwood- Mike Fisher singer and hockey player wedding last month.  The newest newlyweds became engaged in February while on a vacation in Hawaii, where Mike presented Hilary with a $1 million engagement ring. 

The 22 year old Duff worked with a personal trainer six days a week to prepare for The Big Day.  We don’t know why such an intense training program was necessary but in this photo of the couple, we think the results speak for themselves.

Comrie, 29,  is a free agent center who played in 43 games with Edmonton last season, scoring 13 goals and 8 assists.    He missed a good part of the year with mononucleosis.  So now he needs to find a job. Hopefully, some NHL team will  sign this guy to a contract as he spent all his money on an engagement ring.
