Heather Locklear Scare

Actress Heather Locklear was rushed to the hospital on Thursday (1/12/12) after her sister called for an ambulance.

Hospital reps have confirmed that the former Melrose Place star is alert and conscious.

“Heather’s family wants her fans to know that she is doing well,” a spokeswoman for the Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks told reporters, adding: “She is out of harm’s way…she is in no danger.”

Initial reports indicated that the 50-year-old Locklear required medical assistance after ingesting a combination of prescription drugs and alcohol, although that is unconfirmed.

According to Access Hollywood, Locklear’s daughter tweeted this mysterious tweet: “It’s goning to get worse before it gets better,” but that tweet is gone and maybe she wasn’t talking about her mom.

She wasn’t talking about Jersey Shore either. She was obviously enjoying the antics of the guidos and guidettes last night: “Jersey shore thank you for making me laugh my ass off tonight #funnyshit”
