If you missed any of the games, click on the date for the recap with the Daily Doubles and a triple stumper or two. More clues from this week’s games are on Fikkle Fame’s archive.

Friday’s clue was the only triple stumper of the week. If you never heard of that book, you might have needed a little something extra, like “this European country.” The other clues came up with 1 or 2 responses. Thursday’s was likely the easiest for most folks. For me, Wednesday was entirely off my radar and Monday and Tuesday were the easiest. However, the first song I think of that has Tuesday’s response in it really isn’t “America.” It’s Chuck Berry’s “You Can’t Catch Me.”

Jeopardy! champs for the week of April 10, 2017

Pat Greiner was the returning champ on Monday but she was defeated by Greg Chin who also won on Tuesday. Jane Joseph got the lone correct FJ on Wednesday and the title. On Thursday, Deborah Beams took over and her $22,000 was the highest one-day payout of the week. (It was also one of the day that the Jeopardy! payout was higher than Wheel of Fortune). Deborah won again on Friday when no one got FJ, and they overbet. That one wasn’t a big payday but it was a win nonetheless. After all is said and done, it’s the winner who gets another day.
