Final Jeopardy: 2-20-17 to 2-24-17
Here are the Final Jeopardy questions and answers for the week of February 20 through February 24, 2017, the last week of the 2017 College Tournament.
If you missed any of the games, click on the date for the recap with the Daily Doubles and a triple stumper or two. More clues from this week’s games are on Fikkle Fame’s archive.
We had two triple stumpers this week, one involving a fairly current event and the other where some knowledge of presidential nicknames might have helped.
Lilly Chin (M.I.T.), Viraj Mehta (Stanford) and Gary Tse (U.S. Naval Academy) each won a spot in the 2-day final. It was looking good for Gary at the start of Friday’s match but Lilly dominated the second half, scored a runaway and won the whole shebang. Read more about Lilly’s victory and how she took the Jeopardy! test during a class on MIT News.
Several moments from this week caught the attention of a lot of folks. There was Viraj “flipping the bird” while describing folding a slice of pizza. Another was Lilly’s “spiciest memelord” response on Friday. 2015 ToC winner, Alex Jacob, thought that topped his “What is Aleve?” response. Check out his envy tweet:
Dammit, why didn't I think of that? #Jeopardy

The one we think that got the most attention, however, was Alex Trebek reading the rap category on Monday. One youtuber, Caleb Marsh, even added the music to his mix.
