Seth found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “College Firsts” under the $800 clue on the 8th pick of the round. He was in the lead with $4,200 after responding to all of the previous 7 clues correctly. No one else had any money. He bet $2,000 and he was RIGHT.

Seth finished in the lead with $10,200. Dorcas was second with $2,400 and Siddharth was last with $1,800.

Dorcas found the first Daily Double in “What a Country” under the $1,200 clue on the 7th pick of the round. In second place with $4,400, she had $6,200 less than Seth’s lead. She made it a true Daily Double and she was RIGHT.

Seth found the last Daily Double in “Carrot” under the $800 clue. 9 clues remained after it. He had just regained the lead from Dorcas and had $15,000, $200 more than her. He bet $2,500 and thought it was B. That was WRONG.

Carrots are a great source of beta-carotene, which the human body turns into this vitamin. show

Dorcas finished in the lead with $16,800. Seth was next with $14,900 and Siddharth was in third place with $7,000.

Siddharth got it right. He bet $2,000 and finished with $9,000.

Seth also got it. He doubled his score, finishing with $29,800.

Dorcas thought it was John Steinbeck. She lost her $13,001 bet, landing in third place with $3,799. That made Seth Wilson the new Jeopardy! champ.

    VJ, do you remember what the answer was to the last question in the Carrot category? It’s the name of the French dish that includes carrots with 2 other vegetables in a sauce. Dorcas got the right answer, but I couldn’t hear what she said. Thanks!
