WHAT IS AUGUSTA NATIONAL GOLF CLUB?

Golf.com has some insights on obtaining membership in Augusta, (where your dog is more welcome than you are). Of its current membership, they say: “When USA Today published a comprehensive list of the members in 2002, it revealed the average age of an Augusta member to be in the early 70s…. Augusta National announced in 2012 that Condoleezza Rice and Darla Moore would become the first two female members in the history of the club. A third female member, Ginni Rometty, was admitted in 2014.”

Erin had “the Masters Golf Club.” She bet and lost it all.

Miles drew a blank. He lost his $7,777 bet, leaving him with $5,823.

Joe got it right. Leaving “National” out of the title was fine, Alex explained, because most people refer to it simply as “Augusta.” His $10,601 bet brought him up to a $27,201 win for this match. His 3-day total is $77,202.

I was surprised that Joe got Final right despite Alex saying it was a tough category.

Didnt the champ say Victorio Cross and not Victoria Cross at the end of DJ? That would have cost him the lead, even if it appears he would have still wont the game anyway..

    • VJ says:

Hard to say. I just listened to it twice on my computer and it sounds like he said VictoriA to me. But the cc had VictoriO. Then on the DVR, I played it for my daughter, who had not seen the show at all. I told her to shut her eyes. She heard Victoria too. The cc said Victorio on the TV too.

In any event, it wouldn’t have cost Joe the game because he was the only one to get the final right, right?

That did end up being the case, so it did not matter.. But, I thought the same because of the CC to start and couldnt say for sure when I went back to listen to it again..
