WHAT IS NORTH DAKOTA?

“The North Dakota oil boom is an ongoing period of rapidly expanding oil extraction from the Bakken formation in the state of North Dakota that followed the discovery of Parshall Oil Field in 2006, and is continuing as of 2013. Despite the 2008–2012 global financial crisis, the oil boom has resulted in enough jobs to give North Dakota the lowest unemployment rate in the United States. The boom has given the state of North Dakota, a state with a 2013 population of about 725,000, a billion-dollar budget surplus.” (wikipedia)

Tom wrote down Texas. He lost his $8,800 bet and finished with $2,400.

Russ got it right. He bet $1,300 and finished with $16,700.

Pam wrote down Arizona, crossed that out and wrote down Washington. She lost $2,602 so she ended up with $14,798.

Russ Schumacher

So a very surprised Russ Schumacher advances to the semi-finals. Don’t know why he was so surprised though — he won his first match by default when no one knew FJ! He was in second place in that one and he bet nothing.

Pam Mueller joins Leszek Pawlowicz as a wild card contender.

2 years ago:: ALL of the Teen Tournament players got this FJ in “Ancient Landmarks”.

It’s believed that its nose was about 3 feet wide when it was first constructed around 2500 B.C. show

First Larissa Kelly, then Pam Mueller?!? I don’t like this guy!! Just kidding (sort of). I’m sure he’s a great guy. I just wish that he was a great guy somewhere else.

I am shocked all 3 did not get FJ. With all of the fracking that has been taking place in North Dakota in the news that was easy. Also with Canada being our #1 importer of oil and with the Canadian oil also coming thru that state plus people moving there for the jobs. I could go on and on. Nevertheless, the game was exciting up to FJ.

you and me both, jacobska! Was thinking that’s a lot of years that two of them never heard or read a single news item about it? Hmmm…

Anyhow, I didn’t think the first round was exciting at all although Tom was certainly on his toes, just like Leszek was yesterday. I wished they both won.

pam is just 202 bucks short of leszek’s 15K yesterday. that might just make the difference in the wc race.
