New champ Sarah Olson defeated a 5x champ yesterday and won $10,600. Today she takes on these two players: Lee May, originally from Roanoake, VA; and Ilissa Gold, originally from Nashville, TN.

Ilissa found the Jeopardy! round Daily Double in “Change You Can Believe In” under the $600 clue. She was in the lead with $1,200, $200 ahead of Lee in second place. She bet $1,000. Not really sure what she said but whatever it was, it was WRONG.

Lee finished in the lead with $8,000. Ilissa was second with $2,200 and Sarah was last with $400.

Sarah found the first Daily Double in “Quotable Plays” under the $1,200 clue. She was in second place with $6,000, $5,600 less than Lee’s lead. She bet $2,000 and she was RIGHT.

Ilissa found the last Daily Double in “The Historic Señor-“A” or Señorit=”A”” under the $1,200 clue. She was in third place with $4,200, $9,800 less than Sarah’s lead. She made it a true Daily Double and she was RIGHT (once she got the first name out).

Sarah finished in the lead with $14,000. Ilissa was next with $8,400 and Lee was in third place with $8,000.
