Emma Stone in “Easy A”

Are you one of the ones who just can’t wait till September 17th to run out and see Emma Stone in Easy A? We saw an interview with her tonight on TV and the first thing the interviewer did was ask her a question about Amanda Bynes. How tacky is that!

Anyway, Easy A looks like it’s going to be a fun movie, although even in the trailer, it’s a little hard to believe that anybody who looks like Emma Stone was ever ‘anonymous.’

Who is playing Hester Prynne in the movie trailer? Looks like Colleen Moore to us. The full 1934 Scarlet Letter with Colleen Moore can be seen at archive.org, if you’ve got a mind to see it and an hour and a little over 9 minutes to kill. One of the actors, Alan Hale, in the 1934 Scarlet Letter was the father of Alan Hale, Jr., who played the Skipper on Gilligan’s Island.
