Demi Lovato Thinks She Can Keep a Secret

Demi Lovato says she has learned her lesson after the pain of her public breakup with her “Cam Rock 2″ co-star, Joe Jonas.

“It’s not very much fun when you break up in a public relationship,” the petite singer and actress told People Magazine, “So, maybe next time keep a secret.”

Embarrassing as it all may be, Demi conceded that it’s hard to keep it quiet when you’re in love:

“You want to say to your fans, ‘Guess what, I’m so in love with somebody.’ You want to shout it from the rooftops. That’s what you do when you fall in love,” Demi said and shared her plans to keep mum about her elationships form now until her wedding day: “At the same time, I learned my lesson. You know, I’ll go public when I marry someone one day.”

Well good luck with that, sweetheart. It’s a little tough to keep anything a secret in the entertainment world. Maybe you could move to a small community. Nevermind, it’s a little tough to keep a secret there too.

Happy 18th birthday anyway.

“Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam” premieres on the Disney Channel September 3 and will run through Labor Day weekend.
