Crystal Bowersox Talks Teeth

“American Idol” runner-up Crystal Bowersox talked to People about her new smile:  ”I had braces when I was young and I couldn’t afford to finish treatment,” the 24 year old chanteuse said.

She also ended speculation that the dentist who previously offered to fix her teeth for free was the one who did her new smile. He was not because she thought the way he offered to fix them “was very rude.”  The dentist did not contact her personally but made the offer publicly, so, Crystal says, “ I turned him down publicly. It’s not that I didn’t want to do it. I’ve always wanted to do it.”

She just didn’t like the way he went about it and said at the time that she was beautiful just the way she was.

So his plans of hanging out a “Crystal Bowersox had her teeth done here” sign were hopelessly dashed but at least he knows why and will learn the value of discretion.

Crystal says she is now smiing with “pure confidence” for the first time in my life.”

Looking good, girl!
