Clue Watch: Floyd Patterson and Ingemar Johansson

Floyd Patterson and Ingemar Johannson were two heavyweight champs who fought each other 3 times, with the title going back and forth between them. They show up together most of the time on Jeopardy! when they show up at all.

12/10/1986 THE ’50s $300: 1 of 5 men to have held the world heavyweight boxing championship during the decade

Wasn’t that 1986 a cool clue? Joe Louis was one wrong answer to it. Neither Floyd nor Ingo were given as a correct response.

Both Floyd Patterson and Ingemar Johansson are DUE FOR A CLUE. They both might show up together again. If not, from the clues above, it looks like American Floyd has the advantage over Swedish Ingo.
