Chelsea Handler Tells Jay Leno Off

Chelsea Handler was not amused by Jay Leno’s prank about her getting drunk at her Super Bowl party (that she didn’t invite Jay to because he doesn’t drink.)

Jay said that Chelsea’s comedienne friend, Heather, posted a picture of a drunken Chelsea on her facebook. Chelsea professed disbelief: “She would not do that … I don’t believe you …” Jay then showed a picture of Nick Nolte’s drunken mug shot. The audience howled but Chelsea sat stonefaced.

“You are so f—king stupid,” Miss Handler said. (Yes, it was bleeped).

“Ooh,” Jay responded, asking the audience if they could feel the sexual tension.

“I mean honestly,” Chelsea continued, “everytime I come here which, as we just mentioned, was once every probably 60 days … you put a picture up of some 85-year-old drunken lunatic and refer to me — and it’s only amusing to you….”

And we howled. Sort of like her jokes — they’re only amusing to her.

“Do you think I’m as out of hand as Nick Nolte?” she whined.

Later, Jay asked if she was having a birthday soon and she replied. “Yes, I have a birthday, I’m going to be 70, what’s the joke now?”

It was a “new liver” in a gift box. That was Jay’s idea of a funny birthday gift.

“I thought it was No. 2,” Chelsea said.

Her birthday is February 25th. She’s not the only comedian born on that day either. Maybe next time, Jay can get a picture of Carrot Top and play a joke on Chelsea that only he and the audience find amusing.
