Charlie Sheen Helps Alabama Tornado Relief

Published on January 7, 2012 by name team   ·   No Comments

Actor Charlie Sheen has made good on a promise to help disaster-stricken Alabama. In the spring of 2011, tornadoes ripped through southern states from Mississippi to Virginia. Tuscaloosa, Alabama suffered the most devastating hit when a tornado with winds in excess of 200 mph struck on April 27th. Sheen personally visited the area to offer his support.

The former “Two and a Half Men” star set up a website to help with the fund-raising efforts and through that site contributed $10,000 to the Alabama tornado relief fund.

He also added $15,000 from his own pocket.
