Well, we haven’t had any better luck trying to look at a pic of Carrie Underwood’s wedding dress than you have. Back last February, Mike Fisher did talk about the nuptial plannings with Life & Style magazine and said “”It’s going to be a good size wedding with plenty of good food and an open bar,” Fisher told Life & Style. “But nothing too overblown. It’s still in the planning stages, so a lot of the details haven’t been finalized.”
Nothing too overblown, eh? They reportedly spent half a million dollars on their Georgia wedding, booking the entire 250-room Ritz-Carlton Lodge at the Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro. The bride and groom are staying in the $4,000-a-night three-story “Presidential House.”
Earlier in January, Carrie Underwood said at the People’s Choice Awards that she was planning on “rocking some big hair and eyeliner” and wanted a pretty traditional dress. She was thinking flowers on the dress (not real ones) and planning on working with a designer she already had dealing with.
She was rocking her big hair, eyeliner and traditiional dress under such tight security that only the people who were there got to see it.
Underwood’s publicist, Jesse Schmidt, did send the Associated Press an email early this monring saying “Yes, Mike and Carrie are married,” but not saying anything about where the couple were honeymooning.
We’re happy for you, Carrie and Mike, but your fans are a little disappointed.
