Bon Jovi’s Daughter Arrested after OD

Stephanie Bongiovi, 19, the daughter of NJ rocker Jon Bon Jovi, was arrested in Upstate New York on Wednesday morning, according to the Utica Observer Dispatch, and is now facing drug charges after an apparent overdose on heroin.

Stephanie Bongiovi was found unresponsive by an ambulance crew sent to Hamilton College, a private liberal arts school in Clinton, NY, after responding to a call for help. Town of Kirkland police Investigator Peter Cania said the girl was recovering at a hospital.

Police investigating at the scene found enough evidence to bring several misdemeanor charges against Miss Bongiovi, included seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana and criminally using drug paraphernaliall misdemeanors. Ticket were issued and she was released pending a court hearing.

She may possibly get kicked out of school as well since the Hamilton College officials issued a statement noted that: “In addition to violating state law, the actions alleged to have been committed by the students violate Hamilton College policy. The college is cooperating with the police investigation. Our first concern is always for the safety of our students.”

But maybe not. Her father is scheduled to perform at a concert to benefit Hamilton’s scholarships and arts programs in Times Square on Dec. 5.

Bon Jovi’s real name is John Bongiovi. He has four children, Stephanie, Jesse, Jacob and Romeo, with his wife, Dorothea.
