Amy Winehouse Condolence Tweets

There’s not much you can say to express the shock and horror of finding out that Amy Winehouse has died at age 27. Celebrity condolence continue to pour in on twitter. One particular tweet captured our sentiments:

Kelly Osbourne said she would have to be off twitter after several tweets, including:

i cant even breath right my now im crying so hard i just lost 1 of my best friends. i love you forever Amy & will never forget the real you!

Rihanna couldn’t believe it at first, but when she learned it was confirmed, tweeted:

Dear God have mercy!!! I am SICK about this right now! #DearAmy

Demi Moore:

Truly sad news about Amy Winehouse. My heart goes out to her family. May her troubled soul find peace.

Ricky Martin tweeted this message in English and Spanish:

I  don’t feel quite right “tweeting” about death. But I do know addiction should never be silenced. There IS help. Ur never alone #ripAmy

We don’t think “Ur never alone” is really true because there obviously are people dealing with substance abuse who feel alone, despite the help that is available that they somehow can’t connect with. All the different types of programs are there, yes, but the demons of self-destructiveness still somehow get the upper hand.
