Against the Wall: The Fifth Body (S1, EP4)

Again the cop drama took a backseat to the family entanglements in “The Fifth Body” (August 21st). Abby and Lina have to locate a missing corpse which turns up on the internet in one of those corpse joke videos that morgue employees make to relieve stress. We saw this same plot not too long ago on Law & Order: Criminal Intent’s “Cadaver.”

And who shows up as a defense attorney to serve Abby with some papers? Danny Mitchell. Abby tells her brother Richie that Dan likes her and calls him her stalker. He just turns up everywhere now. Richie says Abby is imagining things. He saw Dan with a brunette so Abby’s not really his type.

Abby played on the police football team for 5 years, but now because of her association with Internal Affairs, no one wants her to play. She’s really upset and asks Richie to go to bat for her. (LOL. wrong sport). Danny gets her spot on the football team, so Abby joins the opposing team – the fire department.
