Aaron Rodgers Disses Mark Sanchez’s GQ Style

On his weekly show September 6th on Milwaukee’s 540 ESPN Radio, Green Bay Packers quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Aaron Rodgers voiced displeasure with New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez’s photos in the September 2011 issue of GQ.  “Look at this, that’s embarrassing” said Rodgers, referring to a picture of Sanchez in a black tank top and white pants.  Sanchez is the magazine’s cover story this month.

“That’s not really  my style” Rodgers continued, referring to Sanchez’s high profile life in New York.  “I like my anonymity, I like my privacy”.  Rodgers is from a rural part of northern California and Sanchez played college ball at USC.  Northern and southern California are like two different states, and northeastern agricultural California is nothing like Hollywood.  Sanchez appears to like all that New York has to offer and enjoys the high profile; Rodgers, like Brett Favre before him, does well with playing in Green Bay and spending off seasons in rural California and rural Mississippi, respectively.  That formula worked for those two, who each won a Super Bowl with the Packers.  Sanchez is still working on that.
