Joss and Smokey Do a Real Duet

We can’t believe that some folks are saying the Joss Stone / Smokey Robinson duet on last night’s American Idol wasn’t all that. Some are saying Smokey’s too old to sing with Joss Stone. It’s not about that.

Randy Travis is quite a bit older than Carrie Underwood as well, but that wasn’t a real duet anyway. Carrie practically sang the whole song herself with Randy Travis sitting there with a dumb grin on his face. Then when Randy sings a few bars, Underwood chimes in and drowns him out.
