2011 Celebrity Baby Names

Here is the list of celebrities who were visited by the stork in 2011. We’re sure you’ll agree that people blow up that ‘crazy celebrity baby name’ thing a bit too much when you see that most of the new arrivals were given perfectly normal and/or perfectly trendy baby names. But if they were handing out an award for Most Eccentric Baby Name, well, Alicia Silverstone would win this year’s hands down. Just saying.

January
6 – Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom started out the 2011 celebrity baby boom with their first child, a son they named Flynn.
22 – Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem became the proud parents of a little boy they call Leo.
25 – Mike Tyson and Lakiha Spicer Tyson welcome their second child, a boy they named Morocco Elijah.
27 – Christina Applegate and husband Martyn LeNoble had a daughter and named her Sadie Grace.

February
1 – Colin Hanks and Samantha Bryant had their first child, a daughter they named Olivia Jane.
16 – Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster had their second child together, a boy named Aiden.
17 – Gretchen Mol and Kip Williams had their second child and first girl: Winter Morgan.

March
? – Elizabeth Banks and husband Max Handelman welcomed a baby boy. His name is Felix Handelman.

April
4 – Laila Ali and Curtis Conway had their second child, a baby girl named Sydney
7 – Drea de Matteo and Shooter Jennings named their baby boy in the family tradition: Waylon Albert and gave him his very own distinctive nickname: “Blackjack.”
30 – Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon had fraternal twins: Moroccan (boy) and Monroe (girl).

May
1 – Antonio Sabato Jr.and Cheryl Moana Marie named their baby boy after papa, but check out his middle name: “Kamakanaalohamaikalani.” They say its a Hawaiian name meaning “a beloved gift from the heavens.”
5 – Nikki Cox and Jay Mohr welcomed a baby boy and named him Meredith Daniel.
5 – Alicia Silverstone & Christopher Jarecki had a baby boy and named him — okay, this one is really unique — Bear Blu.
19 – Marion Cotillard and Guillaume Canet had a baby boy whom they named Marcel, not even un peu outlandish in France, where they live.

June
2 – Alecia “Pink” Moore and Carey Hart chose the name Willow Sage for their new bundle of joy.
14 – Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied were esctatic at the birth of their baby boy. They named him Aleph.
28 – Tia Mowry (one half of Sister, Sister) and her husband Cordy Hardrict gave their son the trendy handle, Cree Taylor.

July
? – Dido and Rohan Gavin had their first child, named him Stanley and kept mum about it till December!
9 – Kate Hudson and Matthew Bellamy had a boy they named Bingham, a rather formal sounding appellation. Prediction: Just Bing Bellamy can’t be too far off.
10 – Victoria and David Beckham had a daughter, they gave a very trendy first name and a lucky number: Harper Seven
12 – Jewel and Ty Murray called their new baby boy Kase Townes.
17 – Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner first child was named Arabella Rose, a very exotic name, according to Grandpa Donald.

August
13 – Jessica Alba and Cash Warren added another baby girl to their family. The new baby, Haven, joins an older sister named Honor. They are clearly fond of the letter H.
21 – Kimberly Stewart and Benicio del Toro, although not officially a couple, had a baby girl. She was dubbed Delilah. Look back to 2/16 for Delilah’s Uncle Aiden.
31 – Alyssa Milano and Dave Bugliari had a baby boy they named Milo Thomas.

September
? – Mike Myers and wife Kelly Tisdale had a baby boy they named Spike. Why wait for someone else to give you kid a nickname?
10 – “In Plain Sight” star Mary McCormack and hubby Michael Morris had a little sweetheart they named Lillian.
11 – Berenice Bejo and director hubby Michel Hazanavicius had a little girl they named Gloria.
13 – January Jones gave birth to a baby boy. His name is Xander and he may know who is daddy is, but we don’t.
21 – “Bones” star Emily Deschanel and husband David Hornsby welcomed their first child, Henry.

October
2 – Donald Trump, Jr. and his wife Vanessa had a little boy name Tristan Milos. Very popular names. Tristan has older two siblings and of course, cousin Arabella Rose Kushner will always be the same age as him — well a couple of months older.
3 – Country singer, Eric Church and wife Katherine had a baby boy named Boone. Such a strong sounding name!
4 – Ali Landry and Alejandro Monteverde had their second child, but first son. His romantic name is Marcelo Alejandro.
10 – Tori Spelling and Dean McDermottt welcomed their third child, a daughter they gave a sweet old-fashioned name, Hattie Margaret.
19 – French First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and her President and Prince, Nicolas Sarkozy had a baby girl. French daily Le Matin announced: “Le bébé Sarkozy a un prénom: c’est Giulia,” which means her name is Giulia. Very beautiful!

November
6 – Actress Lindsay Price and celebrity chef hubby Curtis Stone had a baby boy they named Hudson, a name that is getting quite popular.
7 – Nia Long and Ime Udoka had a baby boy they gave a very unique name: Kez Sunday Udoka
12 – Shayne Lamas and Nik Ritchie made “Renegade” Lorenzo Lamas a grandpa with daughter, Press. Shayne thought up this unique name herself and added her grandmother’s last name Dahl for a second name.
16 – Niki Taylor and Burney Lamar named their new baby Rex Harrison. Where have we heard that before?
21 – Country singer, Justin Moore and his wife Kate welcomed a daughter, Kennedy Faye.
25 – Lily Allen and Sam Cooper had a baby girl. So far, they’ve kept their daughter’s name under wraps.

13 – Fantasia Barrino had a boy she named Dallas Xavier, both popular names.
